Is it permissible for an eight-year-old child to go to the mosque and pray therein, knowing that he does not cleanse himself completely from urine?

The guardian of a child who has reached seven years of age should teach him prayer (Salah) and ritual purity (Taharah) for it. He should not neglect teaching him on the pretext of his impurity. Rather, he should first be taught purity, then prayer. He should be disciplined for abandoning it if he reaches ten years of age. It is permissible to bring boys to the mosque for their education, even if they have impurity on them that does not extend beyond their clothes. They should be commanded to purify themselves before entering the prayer hall. However, those whose impurity extends [beyond their clothes] or who are too young to discern and come to the mosque for purposes other than education or prayer should be prevented from entering the mosque.
