Does the income distribution continue as it was before the father's death, or is it to be distributed among the heirs, and if it is to be distributed, how is that to be done?
If the deceased leaves no heirs other than the mother, wives, sons, and daughters, then the inheritance is distributed as follows:
The mother receives one-sixth. The three wives share one-eighth, dividing it equally among themselves. The remainder goes to the sons and daughters by ta'sib (residuary heirship), with the male receiving the share of two females.
The inheritance is divided into 648 shares: 108 shares for the mother, 81 shares for the wives (27 shares for each), 17 shares for each daughter, and 34 shares for each son.
Income generated after the death of the deceased must be distributed according to Islamic law and nothing from it may be spent contrary to the legal division, except with the consent of the adult, sound-minded heirs. The rights of minors and those who are not sound-minded from this income must be preserved for them, and nothing from it may be taken, even if they consent to it. Males are not permitted to claim any exclusive portion of the inheritance without the consent of all heirs.
