How sound is the Hadith: "Whoever washes and is washed, and comes early and is present from the beginning, and draws near to the Imam, and does not engage in idle talk, then for every step he takes, he shall have the reward of a year's worth of fasting and prayer"? Is it permissible to cite it and mention it regarding the virtues of Friday? What is the meaning of a Marfu' Hadith? And what are the Hadiths that are not permissible to cite or transmit?

It is not permissible to cite weak hadiths as valid proofs, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever intentionally fabricates a lie against me shall take his seat in Hellfire," and his saying: "Whoever narrates a hadith from me, believing it to be a lie, is himself one of the two liars."

An exception is made for some weak hadiths that may be mentioned with certain conditions, as stated in Fatwas 96555, 146666, 149585, and 91076.
