How should a young man act who lowers his gaze from forbidden things and from most women, but is unable to lower his gaze from his female cousin towards whom his heart inclines, and whom he thinks about and imagines after meeting her? And what is the remedy for that?

To lower the gaze from forbidden sights, the following are recommended: frequent supplication, sincerity with Allah in the desire to be rid of forbidden looking, sensing Allah's watchfulness, increasing the remembrance of Allah and seeking refuge in Him, and observing the Islamic regulations in family gatherings.
