Does the Almighty's saying: "And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a suffocating life" pertain to the worldly life?

What is mentioned in the noble verse concerning the warning for those who turn away from the remembrance of Allah has been interpreted by exegetes as referring to the life of this world, and by some as referring to the life of the Barzakh (interim period between death and resurrection). Thus, whoever turns away from the remembrance of Allah lives in hardship, anxiety, confusion, and doubt, even if they outwardly appear to be enjoying themselves, because their heart has not attained certainty and guidance. A life disconnected from Allah is one of hardship, no matter how expansive it may seem. It is the hardship of disconnection from Allah, and the hardship of confusion, anxiety, and doubt. As for the believer in Allah, they live with a tranquil heart and a joyful spirit, even if they possess nothing of this world.
