What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning the work of a barber who shaves the hair of young men in a "Qaza'" (unevenly shaved) manner, and regarding the money earned from that? And what is the ruling concerning the work of a barber who shaves beards, knowing that barbering is his only profession?

If a barber engages in what Allah Almighty has forbidden, such as shaving the beard, or performing Qaza' (shaving parts of the head and leaving others), or men imitating women and disbelievers, then this is not permissible for him. The money he receives for this is unlawful, as it constitutes cooperation in sin and transgression. Shaving the beard is forbidden due to contravening the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him; Qaza' is prohibited; and imitating disbelievers is unlawful. Therefore, money earned from an unlawful act is unlawful money and ill-gotten gain. If barbering is his profession, he should avoid the forbidden and practice barbering in what is permissible to shave.
