What is the ruling regarding a man having intercourse with his wife during the daytime in Ramadan, being ignorant of its prohibition, and believing that he is not required to fast because he is a groom?

If intercourse occurs during the daytime in Ramadan due to ignorance of its prohibition, in an environment where ignorance is prevalent, then there is neither make-up (qada') nor expiation (kaffarah) for the spouses. However, it is recommended to make up one day for each day of intercourse for those who wish to be cautious and pious, based on the opinion of some scholars, such as the Hanbalis.
