The question

Is it true that the children of believers in Paradise will be cared for by Abraham and Sarah until they are returned to their parents on the Day of Resurrection, and that the Messenger will be the first to enter Paradise, and that the gathering on the Day of Resurrection will be in the vicinity of Jerusalem, and where will the reckoning take place, and was it mentioned how we will be raised to the sky?

The answer

The Hadith: "The children of believers are in a mountain in Paradise; Abraham and Sarah will take care of them until they return them to their parents on the Day of Resurrection" is not authentic and is denounced.

However, its meaning has been authentically reported with the wording: "The offspring of Muslims are in Paradise, cared for by Abraham." It is also mentioned in another Hadith that the children around Abraham in Paradise are every child who died upon the natural disposition (fitra), including the children of polytheists.

The intent of these Ahadith is that the souls of children are in Paradise. The Prophet (peace be upon him) will be the first to enter Paradise with his soul and body on the Day of Resurrection.

As for the Paradise of Adam (peace be upon him), it is the Garden of Eternity.

Regarding the gathering in the environs of Jerusalem, a weak Hadith has been narrated to that effect. The correct view is that ash-Sham (Greater Syria) is the land of gathering and resurrection for the living at the end of time, not for the Day of Resurrection.

People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection on Earth, not in the heavens. Evidence indicates that Allah and the angels will descend to Earth on the Day of Resurrection for accountability.
