Is it permissible for me to describe myself or others as a miracle?
Applying the term "miracle" to someone characterized by the unusual, as a form of hyperbole and figurative speech, does not appear to be prohibited and is not considered a lie. The permissibility of hyperbole is evidenced by what came in the hadith: "As for Abu al-Jahm, he does not put down his staff from his shoulder, and as for Mu'awiyah, he has no wealth."
It is, however, more appropriate to use a term other than "miracle," because the term "miracle" refers to an extraordinary event by which Allah Almighty supports His messengers.
