Is receiving a salary in exchange for not going to work—due to the decision to prohibit covering the face—considered unlawful money, given the difficult financial circumstances?

It is not permissible to prevent a Muslim woman from covering her face. If the administration exempts the woman from attending work in exchange for a salary, it is permissible for her to take it, provided the administration is authorized to make this decision. Otherwise, it is not permissible because it violates the terms of the contract. In this case, if the woman is compelled to take this job and cannot find another, it is permissible for her to submit to their condition while avoiding places where men can look at her. It is recommended to increase supplication (Du'a), remembrance of Allah (Dhikr), and seeking His help.
