Is it permissible for girls to learn matters of "Nikah" (Islamic marriage contract) in front of males in a mixed-gender class?
Mixing in study halls or any other place is not permissible except in cases of extreme necessity when there is no alternative, due to the corruption and discord that result from it, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I have not left behind me any trial more harmful to men than women." If necessity compels it and no alternative exists, it is permissible under certain conditions: that the girl covers her entire body, that she does not wear perfume or adorn herself, that everyone lowers their gaze, that the discussion is limited to the subject of the lesson without softening the speech, and that discord is prevented. If these conditions are met, then there is no harm in learning the rulings of marriage () and divorce () and related matters. However, narrations () concerning sexual matters are not permissible.
