What is the ruling on a woman sitting with non-mahram men and intermingling with them for the purpose of learning and gaining experience from them, given the presence of women who are immodestly dressed and display submissiveness in speech, even if the woman feels secure from temptation and physical contact?

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have not left behind me a trial more harmful to men than women." And in another hadith: "And beware of women, for the first trial of the Children of Israel was concerning women." The trial of women must be avoided, for intermingling with immodestly dressed women who speak alluringly is forbidden, and mixing is forbidden if it involves the woman's lack of modesty and proper covering. Knowledge and expertise can be gained by associating with specialized men, without forbidden mixing.
