Is a second marriage obligatory in Iraq, especially with the large number of single and widowed women in Sunni areas?

Among the wisdoms of polygyny is to consider the circumstances of spinsters and widows. And he who marries several women out of consideration for their situation, and to improve their affairs, and to bear their burdens, will have a great reward. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was an example in this regard. However, this does not mean that polygyny is obligatory when women are numerous, for obligation is a legal ruling that requires proof, and such proof is not found, despite the multitude of battles and martyrs during the era of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Rightly Guided Caliphs.
