The answer

The exchange of words of love and emotional feelings between spouses is important for the continuity of married life and strengthening their relationship. If the wife does not reciprocate her husband's feelings, he should excuse her, and perhaps she will initially make an effort, which will then become second nature to her.

The absence of love from the outset does not necessitate divorce. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about a man who wanted to divorce his wife because he did not love her, to which he replied: "Woe to you! Were houses built only on love? What about care and responsibility?"

As for marrying another, it is preferable to be patient and consider its predominant benefit. If it is highly likely to lead to the destruction of the family and the loss of children, then one should dismiss the idea.

Misyar marriage is permissible if it fulfills the conditions of validity.
