The answer

A Muslim should care for Friday and prepare for it by performing ghusl, applying perfume, and wearing the best clothes. He should head to the mosque with tranquility, arriving early to gain reward, and pray two rak'ahs before sitting down. He should be keen to be close to the Imam in the first rows without stepping over people's necks. Then, he should occupy himself with prayer, recitation, and remembrance until the Imam ascends the minbar. When the Imam ascends, he should listen attentively to the sermon and avoid idle talk, and pray with the people with humility and tranquility, hoping for reward. Whoever does this will have his sins forgiven between the two Fridays, plus an additional three days. After the prayer, he should perform the prescribed adhkar (remembrances) and then go to his home or work. He should be keen to perform the post-Jumu'ah sunnah prayer of two or four rak'ahs, bearing in mind that Jumu'ah prayer is not Dhuhr prayer but an independent prayer.
