What are the recommended Sunnah acts and manners for Friday?

Friday is a virtuous day, and it has many Sunnahs and etiquette, including: Friday prayer, which is one of the most emphasized obligations of Islam; striving in supplication due to the presence of an hour of response therein; reciting Surat Al-Kahf for the light it contains; and frequently sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him). It is prohibited to single out the night of Friday for prayer or its day for fasting, unless it coincides with a customary fast, because Friday is a day of worship and supplication, and fasting on it may weaken one from performing these acts of worship with vigor.
