What should a questioner do, having come to despise her father for his injustice, his harm to her and her mother, and his selfish personality, while she fears parental disobedience and that her affairs will not be facilitated, in addition to being unable to change her feelings towards him?

If a father wrongs his daughter and wife, he has committed a grave evil. He owes them rights just as they owe him rights. There is no sin in a daughter's heartfelt dislike of her father due to his wrongdoing, as Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [there is blame for] what your hearts intended." However, one must be careful that this dislike does not lead her to harm him, thus becoming undutiful. The daughter can try to reform her father by supplicating for him and bringing righteous people to influence him, hoping that Allah may reform him.
