Is it permissible to name a child "Subhan Aslam" or "Subhan Afdal", and is it permissible to name businesses "Subhan Restaurant for Ready Meals" or "Subhan Fabrics Shop"?

It is permissible to name someone "Subhan" without adding it to "Allah Ta'ala," because no Sharia-related prohibition arises from that. "Subhan" is a verbal noun meaning glorification, and its verb is no longer in use. It is strange that some people use names not intended for naming, while abandoning the good names that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us are the best to be named with, such as "Abdullah" and "Abdul Rahman."
