What is the ruling on wind and gases resulting from chronic constipation, and is it obligatory to perform ablution for each prayer because of them?

If the emission of gases reaches the point of incontinence (sals) such that you cannot control it and do not find sufficient time for purification (tahara) and prayer, then your ruling is that of one excused due to incontinence. In this case, you perform ablution (wudu') for each prayer after its time has begun, and you pray the obligatory (fard) prayer and as many supererogatory (nawafil) prayers as you wish, and what is emitted does not harm you.

However, if the emission does not reach the point of incontinence, then you must perform ablution at a time when you know that gases will not be emitted, and pray with that ablution.
