A husband who does not treat his wives justly is sinful and faces a severe warning. It is not part of the obligatory justice to equate wives in the number of times of intercourse. He must ensure their satisfaction in sexual relations, as long as it does not harm him, while observing justice between them in this regard. It is not permissible to house two wives in the same dwelling without their consent, due to the harm involved.

It is advised to be patient with the husband and counsel him. If he does not become just, the wife may request a divorce or take the matter to court, as "there shall be no harm or causing of harm." It is also advised to supplicate and perform Salatul-Istikhara before making a decision about divorce.
