Is it permissible to play the Holy Quran on the television in the parents' bedroom, knowing that there is impurity in the room due to the father urinating into a bottle?

Among the etiquettes of the Noble Qur'an is not to recite it in impure places or places of relieving oneself. Some opinions have gone so far as to deem it forbidden to do so, in order to preserve the honor of the Qur'an.

As for a room in which there is a sick person or an elderly person who urinates into a bottle, it is not considered impure; rather, it is pure. Impurity is confined to the bottle only. It has been narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had a vessel in which he would urinate under his bed, and he would remember Allah and recite the Qur'an in his room. This indicates that the presence of incidental impurity does not prevent the recitation of the Qur'an, unlike places specifically designated for impurity. Therefore, there is no harm in playing the Noble Qur'an in this room.
