How is the inheritance divided among the husband, the three daughters, the full brother, and the full sister?

The inheritance is divided as follows: The husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, as Allah Almighty says: {But if they have a child, then for you is one fourth of what they leave.} (Quran 4:12) The daughters receive two-thirds equally, as Allah Almighty says: {But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of what he left.} (Quran 4:11) What remains after that is divided between the paternal brother and sister, with the male receiving the share of two females, as Allah Almighty says: {And if there are brothers and sisters, then the male will have the share of two females.} (Quran 4:176) Thus, the inheritance is divided into 36 shares: the husband receives nine shares, the daughters receive twenty-four shares (eight for each), the brother receives two shares, and the sister receives one share. This is done after settling the deceased's debts and fulfilling their bequests. It is recommended to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia courts to verify all rights, bequests, and debts before distribution.
