How sound is the following statement when performing the 'aqiqah: "In the name of Allah, Allah is the greatest, and upon the creed of the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, this is from You and for You, on behalf of Muhammad"?

The aforementioned wording was reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he slaughtered the sacrificial animal (Uḍḥiyah), not the 'Aqiqah. He said when he directed them: "I have turned my face towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, a Hanif (true believer), and I am not of the polytheists. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds, without any partner for Him. And with this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims. O Allah, from You and for You, on behalf of Muhammad and his Ummah."

It also states: "In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, this is from You and for You."

As for slaughtering the 'Aqiqah, what is said is what is said when slaughtering other animals in terms of Bismillah (mentioning Allah's name), such as: "In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest," or "In the name of Allah," based on Allah's saying: "So mention the name of Allah over them when they are lined up," and the understanding of His saying: "And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned."
