What is the definition of vice, and its description in Islamic law? And what are its rulings?

"Vice" (الرذيلة) is derived from "al-radhl" (الرذل), which refers to something of poor quality in all respects. Legally and linguistically, it is defined as a blameworthy trait, and it is the opposite of virtue. Vice may manifest as stinginess, theft, usurpation, or adultery, and each of these has a different legal ruling.
