What is the ruling on money acquired from purchasing agricultural land for one million [currency units] and selling its crops for three million, considering the one million paid as "seed for the land," and a profit of two million?

The basic principle governing transactions, including buying and selling, is permissibility. Allah the Almighty says: "And Allah has permitted trade and forbidden interest." And He, glorified be He, says: "O you who have believed, do not consume your properties among yourselves wrongfully, but only [in lawful] trade by mutual consent from you."
