How can one strengthen faith and determination in obedience and repentance, especially after repeatedly falling into sin? And does God forgive sins after they are committed again? And what must be done to atone for aborting a fetus?
Neglecting prayer, committing adultery, inducing abortion, and resorting to sorcerers are all major sins for which Allah has promised severe punishment to those who commit them. The one who neglects prayer is threatened with Al-Ghayy and Al-Wayl. The one who commits adultery will have their torment doubled and will abide therein in disgrace. Calamities, chest constriction, and depression are all consequences of sins. What is obligatory is sincere repentance by abstaining from the sin, regretting it, and resolving never to return to it. Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of the sincere penitent, forgives their sins, and replaces their evil deeds with good ones. Out of His grace, He forgives whoever commits sins that reach the clouds of the sky if they seek His forgiveness and do not associate anything with Him.
One must turn to Allah and draw closer to Him through good deeds that expiate evil deeds. This leads to a good life and happiness in this world and the hereafter. What strengthens repentance includes frequent remembrance of Allah, obeying Him, staying away from sins, accompanying the righteous, shunning the wicked, and cutting off ties with any non-mahram man. Repentance must be initiated before death.
