Ibn Ashour mentioned in "Al-Tahrir wa Al-Tanwir" that the address is to an unspecified person, encompassing every addressed individual, due to the contextual conjunction with "that you worship none but Him," and it is not to the Prophet, peace be upon him, as he had no parents at that time.
