How can one respond to a suitor who accuses the scholars and shaykhs who permit demonstrations and political parties of innovation (bid‘ah), and believes that this is a warning against innovations and not a slander against individuals?

The ruling on demonstrations and political parties has been previously clarified in earlier fatwas. And he errs who rules as an innovator anyone who permits regulated demonstrations that consider benefits and harms, or anyone who joins a political party that adheres to Sharia and is founded upon truth and justice.
