Is it permissible, for a momentary error in reciting a verse during prayer, to use the Mushaf (Qur'an) if it is beside me?
Whoever makes a mistake in reciting a verse from Surat Al-Fatihah must correct the error, otherwise, their prayer is invalid because Al-Fatihah is a pillar [of prayer]. As for mistakes outside of Al-Fatihah, if the mus'haf (Qur'an) is nearby and there is no one to prompt the reciter, we hope there is no harm in taking the mus'haf, provided it does not become a habit. If one interrupts the recitation and bows, there is no harm, and it might even be preferable.
