The answer

Allah Almighty's saying, "And we were given of everything" means everything that is needed, such as knowledge, prophethood, wisdom, wealth, and the subjugation of creatures. And Allah Almighty's saying, "And whoever is grateful - he is only grateful for [the benefit of] himself" indicates that the benefit of gratitude redounds to the grateful person himself, as it necessitates the continuity and increase of blessings. It has no relation to the Unseen, even though Allah informs His prophets of the Unseen as a support for them, but this is not inferred from these two verses.
