What are the consequences of wishing to afflict someone with the evil eye with the intention of killing them? Does this necessitate repentance? Does obsessive-compulsive disorder affect this? And is the destiny of the perpetrator the Fire?

One should divert their thoughts from the obsessive whispers (waswas) of afflicting others with the evil eye. Repentance is accepted as long as the servant is regretful, for Allah Almighty said: "And it is He who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons sins," and "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins.'" Likewise, it is not permissible to intentionally inflict harm with the evil eye, due to the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "There should be no harm nor reciprocating harm," and "On what basis would one of you kill his brother?" Accordingly, the Imam prevents the person who harms people with his evil eye from mingling with them and provides for him from the public treasury if he is poor, in order to protect society.
