Is it permissible for the Imam to lead the congregational prayer with a surah that contains an ayah of prostration?

The correct view among scholars is that it is permissible for the Imam to recite a surah that contains a prostration (sajdah) without it being disliked. This is based on what Muslim narrated from Abu Hurairah, who prostrated during "When the heaven is split asunder" (Surah Al-Inshiqaq) and said, "I prostrated during it behind Abu Al-Qasim (the Prophet)." This is the madhhab of the Shafi'is and Hanbalis.
