Was wearing the jilbab part of the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him)? Is it permissible to wear loose, non-transparent pants without sin, or is it considered contrary to Islamic teachings?

Praise be to Allah, the shirt is the best clothing because it covers the body the most and was the most loved clothing of the Prophet ﷺ. However, it is recommended and not obligatory. The Prophet ﷺ wore the waist wrap, the cloak, and the trousers. Any clothing that has the characteristic of being legally permissible can be worn. Tight pants are disliked if nothing is worn over them. As for loose, non-transparent pants, there is no sin for the one who wears them, provided they cover between the navel and the knee and are wide. It is preferable to have a shirt over it that covers between the navel and the knee. Prayer is valid in pants if the person praying can perform the prayer correctly and the pants are not tight.
