What is the ruling on urine splashed from cleansing after urinating – is it impure (najis)?

Urine and all that exits from the two private parts are impure. Whoever does not guard against it on their body and clothes has committed a major sin, due to the Prophet's ﷺ saying: "Indeed, they are being tormented, and they are not being tormented for a major sin. As for one of them, he did not cleanse himself properly from urine. As for the other, he used to spread malicious gossip." The meaning of "not for a major sin" is that it is not difficult to avoid.
