What is the ruling on the marriage of a man who intends to divorce his wife as soon as he returns to his country, with an agreement to delay pregnancy through a birth control method due to age considerations?

If the spouses agree not to procreate for a valid reason—such as the danger of pregnancy to the woman—without using means that completely sever progeny, then there is no harm. Marriage with an hidden intention of divorce after a period—whether known or unknown—is a valid and permissible marriage, as long as it is not stipulated in the contract. It is preferable and more cautious not to intend divorce at the time of marriage, and divorce can occur later if needed. Sustenance is decreed by Allah, and marriage may be a cause for the abundance of sustenance.
