Is it permissible for a mother observing the 'iddah period after her husband's death, who is suffering physically and needs to change her environment and exercise walking as advised by her doctor, to move and stay for days in a farm or another house outside of Riyadh that her husband used to frequent before his death?

A woman whose husband has died must observe her 'iddah (waiting period) in the house where she received the news of his death. She should not move from it except out of necessity or dire need. She may go out during the day for a need only, and she should not go out at night except for extreme necessity. The pain of separation or the need to change location is not considered a justification for leaving the 'iddah house. She may walk in the garden of the house if there is one, or near it during the day, accompanied by one of her children, when necessary.
