What is the ruling on a woman observing 'iddah (55 years old) traveling a distance of four hours to her other husband's house, accompanied by her children and in full modesty?

A woman observing the 'iddah (waiting period) after her husband's death is not permitted to move from the house where she received the news of her husband's passing, especially if the dwelling is owned by her or her husband, even if it's rented. The clear Hadith of Furay'ah bint Malik explicitly supports this ruling, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded her to remain in her house until she completed her 'iddah. There is no difference in this regard between moving to another house belonging to the husband or anyone else, nor between those who are over 55 years old and others.
