Does the exposure of a person who has repented from sodomy among people indicate that he is cursed? Will Allah punish whoever spreads his secrets? Are his sorrows and worries an expiation for his sins?

You have been excessive against yourself by committing major sins. The door to repentance is open, and its conditions are: abstaining from the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. Allah accepts repentance and forgives evil deeds. Your exposure among people does not mean you are cursed; rather, it may be a trial to expiate sins, and every worry or sorrow that afflicts you is an expiation for your sins. Do not succumb to sadness. As for whoever harms or taunts you, remind them of Allah, for the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. It is not permissible to taunt a Muslim because of a sin they have repented from. Entrust the matter of whoever exposed you to Allah Almighty.
