It is not permissible to take a usurious loan, even if it entails grants; because it involves dealing with usury and acknowledging it. The Holy Quran prohibits it, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses.
