Is it permissible not to repay a usurious loan taken from an insurance company with the intention of not repaying it?

It is not permissible to take insurance money or any other money with the intention of not repaying it, even if the intention is to emigrate to an Islamic country. It is also not permissible to enter into a usurious transaction, such as having a party pay for your purchases and then demand the amount paid plus an increase. If you find yourself in such a situation, seek forgiveness and repent, and repay what was paid on your behalf. You are not obligated to pay the usurious increase except out of necessity. Seek lawful earnings, for Allah has promised those who are righteous ease in their affairs and provision. A Muslim should demonstrate the virtues of their religion in their conduct and dealings. The European Council for Fatwa and Research has indeed recommended adherence to the laws of citizenship and official regulations, and working to improve the image of Islam through its values and principles.
