Is it permissible to ascertain sorcery through clothing by moving the left hand when sorcery is present, and the right hand when clothing is present? Is it permissible to communicate with jinn to identify the perpetrator of sorcery? Does the bewitched person comprehend his surroundings?

There is no evidence to confirm the validity of what was mentioned. Experts in Ruqyah can be consulted, as what is said and done in Ruqyah is not prescriptive but rather hinges on not committing anything forbidden, according to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There is no harm in Ruqyah as long as it does not contain polytheism (shirk)."

A person afflicted by magic may not be aware of their surroundings during Ruqyah, and thus, they are not held accountable or blameworthy for what emanates from them in that state.

However, speaking with Jinn to identify the sorcerer is impermissible, as Jinn are prone to lies and deception, and their falsehoods and fabrications of accusations against innocent people cannot be trusted. Furthermore, resorting to them is a means of worshipping and believing them.
