Will a translator of foreign films and series for entertainment, not for corruption, fall under the threat of the verse: "Indeed, those who have persecuted the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hellfire and will have the punishment of the Burning"? And will the punishment of Hellfire and the Burning befall him if he dies and his translations are not removed from the website?
Foreign films and series often contain objectionable content, and translating them becomes forbidden if they include words of disbelief (kufr) or illicit relationships. Those who have published such forbidden translations must repent and strive to remove their effects by contacting website administrators to have them deleted. If they are unable to do so, they should be sincere in their repentance, for repentance is accepted even if the effect remains. The noble verse "Indeed, those who have tormented believing men and believing women" means they burned and tortured them. If the translation does not contain anything forbidden (which is unlikely), it is better to occupy oneself with what is more beneficial.
