It is obligatory for the husband to be just between his wives in terms of division [of time] and to spend on them in a reasonable manner. He is not obliged to equalize between them in maintenance and clothing if the obligatory maintenance for each of them has been provided. If the husband lies in showing affection, there is no sin. However, if the lie is in something else, then the wife should advise him. The husband should treat his wife with kindness and not reveal the secrets of his home.
