Is dedicating Surat Al-Baqarah for treatment, by reciting it daily for forty days or during the Tahajjud prayer, considered a Bid‘ah (innovation), especially since the entire Qur’an is a healing, or is there a Hadith narrated from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, regarding its virtue for treatment?

It is permissible to seek healing with Zamzam water, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Zamzam water is for what it is drunk for." The virtue of reciting Surat Al-Baqarah in repelling devils has been established. It is recommended to recite Surat Al-Baqarah in the Tahajjud prayer, combining the virtue of recitation with prayer and the honor of the time. As for specifying the recitation of Surat Al-Baqarah for forty days, this has not been established, and it is not legislated to adhere to this number. It is not correct to apply the description "good innovation" to something that Allah and His Messenger have not legislated. Also, it is not appropriate to shorten the salutations and prayers upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to (PBUH).
