What is the ruling on sexual chatting online?

What is commonly known as chat sites are dens of corruption and traps for Satan. Indecent and obscene talk is prevalent there, especially sexual chat, which is considered the most malicious and vile. Therefore, a Muslim must avoid these places and utilize their time and effort in what brings them closer to their Lord and benefits them.
