Is it not unjust that God did not give us a choice before our creation regarding the matter of life, its burdens, and its reckoning? And if bearing the trust was a matter of choice, then why was this choice not given to Adam, upon him be peace, alone?

One must be cautious of pursuing doubtful questions, especially concerning matters of creed and the actions of Allah. Allah Almighty possesses ultimate wisdom and perfect justice in His sayings and actions. A Muslim must submit to Allah’s command and decree. Allah Almighty is the Creator, the Disposer of affairs; He is not questioned about what He does, while creation will be questioned about their actions. Indeed, the trust was offered to humanity, and they bore it by their own will. Allah took a covenant from all of humanity that they would worship Him alone and not associate anything with Him, and every newborn is born upon fitra (innate disposition).
