Is it permissible for a father to teach his daughter bad morals such as lying, backbiting, and slandering, and to let her listen to songs and watch bad movies, then belittle and insult her in front of everyone, claiming that he is teaching her practically? Is the father sinful if he watches movies and listens to songs in front of her, despite disliking it? And is the daughter obliged to obey her husband if he wishes to raise the children with the same aforementioned method?

Among the father's duties are raising his children and protecting them from prohibitions, based on the Almighty's saying: {O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire}, and the obligation to teach and discipline them, as stated in the hadith: "Command your children to pray when they are seven," and the hadith: "All of you are guardians and are responsible for your subjects." Neglecting the education of children creates a corrupt generation, and abusing and humiliating them is an injustice that may increase their deviation. Parents must protect their children from committing forbidden acts.
