Is it permissible to stone Jamrat al-Aqaba at night on the Day of Sacrifice, and to perform the sacrifice and shaving before it, in order to be able to spend the nights of Tashreeq in Mina?

The ruling on stoning Jamrat al-Aqaba on the Day of Sacrifice and its best times has been answered previously. As for the order of stoning, sacrificing, shaving, and circumambulating, the Sunnah is to perform them in sequence. If one fails to do so out of forgetfulness, there is no penalty, according to the majority of scholars, as evidenced by the hadith of Abdullah ibn Amr: "Slaughter, and there is no harm; stone, and there is no harm." Similarly, if one does so intentionally, there is no penalty according to many scholars. Staying overnight in Mina during the nights of the Days of Tashreeq is obligatory, and failing to do so necessitates a sacrifice (dam) according to the majority of scholars.
