Did Allah create the universe to demonstrate His Most Beautiful Names, such as His creation of the powerful to prove His name "The All-Mighty" (Al-Aziz), the sick to prove His name "The Healer" (Ash-Shafi), the sinner to prove His name "The Accepter of Repentance, The Forgiver" (At-Tawwab, Al-Ghafur), and similarly in all states of the universe, whether ease or hardship?

The question is not clear, but if it refers to the Istikharah prayer, then it is a Sunnah act established by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as reported by Jabir ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to teach us the Istikharah (prayer for guidance) in all matters, just as he used to teach us a Surah from the Qur'an. He would say: 'If any one of you is concerned about a matter, let him pray two rak'ahs other than the obligatory prayers, then say: "O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and I seek ability by Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. For You are able and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (and here he should mention his need) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the consequences of my affair (or he said: in my immediate and distant future), then decree it for me and make it easy for me, and then bless me in it. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the consequences of my affair (or he said: in my immediate and distant future), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me what is good wherever it may be, and then make me pleased with it."'" Narrated by Al-Bukhari. This is a sound, well-known hadith. It is prayed when a person intends to do something, and he is hesitant about it, not knowing whether it is good or bad. So, he prays these two rak'ahs and makes this supplication. He should not be hasty; rather, he should wait. If his heart is inclined towards it, then it is a sign that it is good, Allah willing. If he feels aversion towards it, then it is a sign that it is not good, Allah willing. The purpose is to seek guidance from Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, in the matter, and to make it easy if it is good, and to avert it if it is bad.
