The answer

The emission of wind (passing gas) invalidates ablution (wudu') and nullifies prayer (salat) by scholarly consensus (ijma'). Therefore, whoever experiences this during prayer must perform ablution again and repeat their prayer. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah does not accept the prayer of anyone of you if he passes wind until he performs ablution." It was asked, "What is 'passing wind,' O Abu Hurairah?" He replied, "Farting or breaking wind." Accordingly, the girl must ascertain the number of prayers that were invalidated because of this and make them all up. If she does not know their exact number, she should make up what she believes is most likely to clear her conscience, as this is more cautious, acting upon the Prophet's saying (peace and blessings be upon him): "The debt owed to Allah is more deserving of being paid," and this is the view of the majority of scholars.
